A final submission from the first Here We Collide Collective: Take a photo of something you see every day that inspires you—a building, a person, a sign, a quote, an image. What does it mean to you?
Check back later today for a new prompt for this week’s Collective!
joswaldsupkeep:

This is the picture I use as my phone background. It’s a quote from Winnie the Pooh; it happens when Christopher Robin and Pooh are talking about growing up and being apart. It’s my most favorite quote.
I am beginning to do some serious self-improvement and part of that involves this quote. Whenever I am feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, upset, tired, what have you, I repeat to myself “braver, stronger, smarter”. I use this quote to remind myself that no matter what, I am willing and capable and I will get through whatever the situation.
This quote is used quite often in my work life as well—I work with college students and I use this quote in either a direct or roundabout way to remind them that they have any and all potential to succeed.
This quote is truly something special and will continue to be with me everyday.

This is my memorial tattoo for my Grandfather (Pa) that I lived with my entire life. He used to make clocks as a hobby, and on all of them he would write “today is a good day.” He said that for the day that someone wont be able to see the time on the clock, at least they’ll know it is a good day. (This is on my upper thigh/hip region)
